Debt Advice is now available to UUTF applicants

Debt advice services have now been made available to United Utilities customers who apply to United Utilities Trust Fund (UUTF). When completing their UUTF application, if an applicant confirms that they would like further financial support, they will be referred to Auriga Services who will contact them to arrange a telephone appointment with a Debt Adviser.
The service will offer budgeting advice, help with priority and non-priority debts, explore debt solutions (including insolvency options) and assist with other applications relating to customers debts.
We can provide you with the following free support:
- Draft a household budget, including creditors, in line with the Standard Financial Statement (SFS);
- Personal budgeting and money management advice, support to prepare a realistic budget and reduce expenditure.
- Advice on priority debts vs. non-priority debts and sanctions.
- Advice on debt solutions, enforcement and disputes.
- Insolvency options – assistance in Bankruptcy or Debt Relief Order applications.
- Support with setting up Debt Management Plans, requesting write offs or negotiating with creditors.
