Due to growing up in the care system, he lacked guidance on managing finances and understanding the importance of paying bills. This, combined with periods of poor mental health, led to the accumulation of his water debt alongside other household debts.
He is now receiving assistance from a dedicated support worker and is Actively participating in money management classes. He is also actively looking for full time employment with the help of his support worker and is committed to improving his life and avoiding similar financial difficulties in the future.
